No Records Received For Instant Verification Request If you ordered an instant verification and no record was provided, the requested data may not be available on The Work Number® database for a number of reasons, including that the employer may not contribute their data to the database. Finding Order History in The Work Number® Depending on your platform, once you have viewed a Work Number verification, it will generally be available under “My Orders” for seven (7) days. To view an active order’s verification report and receipt, click on the link for the report to view the verification information. You will have an option to download the report as a PDF and the receipt. After seven (7) days, you will be able to audit a previously ordered verification. An Audit Copy of a verification provides an exact duplicate of the previous, original verification performed on an individual. After logging in, select "Audit a Verification.” You will be prompted to provide the last four (4) digits of the employee's Social Security Number and the verification Reference Number in order to retrieve the audit copy. After confirming the data that you entered, you will see the previously ordered verification and can print it from your desktop. How does The Work Number® work?
The Work Number® database is the industry-leading centralized commercial repository of income and employment information in the U.S. With 24/7 access to The Work Number®, requests for employment and income information can be sent and retrieved, when available, at any time.
